Shrine Helps Make Summer Learning Fun!
Beginning on June 9, the Lincoln Memorial Shrine will participate in the “Passport to Success – Making Summer Learning Fun” campaign coordinated by Families in Schools. The Shrine is one of 49 institutions in southern California who are participating in this initiative to encourage children to continue to learn during their summer break from school, a time when students can lose up to one month of instruction. “Passport to Success” reduces summer learning loss by encouraging students and families to participate in summer learning activities at local museums, science centers, libraries and cultural institutions. The campaign will run through August 20.
