A.K. Smiley Public Library presents our 15th Annual Family Day event.
Saturday, October 6, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Geared towards Kindergarten – 5th graders and their families.
Join us for a fun day of celebrating a few of Marc Tyler Nobleman’s books with stations inside and outside of the library. The first 450 families to arrive and check-in will receive one free hardback book authored by Nobleman.
We have stations planned out to entice the entire family to participate. With our own local Police Department and volunteer staff reading in the story corner, to our Therapy Dog friend Nicholas listening to kids read near the fish tank.
We’ll have a fire truck here for the kids to explore as well as a WWII vehicle and memorabilia to see.
Kids can make a faerie garden; a pop-up book; see a play with superheroes; hear the author speak and sign books; paint with water colors; and get their face painted are just a few of the stations we have planned out for this 15th Annual Family Day.
We look forward to seeing you and enjoying our day together!
