Established in 1894, A.K. Smiley Public Library has served generations of patrons in the City of Redlands and beyond. The only “admission fee” is curiosity. Lifelong learning is at the center of activity in the beautiful, historic building and attractive grounds!

    About the Performers:

    VALVULA4 is a band thatwas born in the Los Angeles area. Its members are Juan Carlos Figueroa, Alex Serrano, Alfredo Mendoza and JuanSerrano. The main focus of theband is to play Latin music, especially music from countries like Mexico,Argentina, Spain and Chile among others. They have a large selection of coversfrom popular bands. However, they also have original songs and soon will be inthe studio to record original material.

    This free public event is part of theSmiley LIVE! free concert series. Its family-friendly, with a Q&A segmentwhere young and old alike can ask the performers questions about their music,their performance, and anything else they may be curious about. This event issponsored by the Sheila Field Cultural Enrichment Fund.

    Come and join in the fun of stories and songs and meet new friends!  Each Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m. out in the park, behind the Young Readers' Room, or, if the weather is rainy, windy or too chilly, we'll be inside of the Contemporary Club (173 S. Eureka St.)  Open to ages 4 - 6)
