Kids’ Summer Reading Program at A.K. Smiley Public Library – “All Together Now”

Get ready, families! Our 2023 “All Together Now” Summer Reading Program at A.K. Smiley Public Library kicks off June 22nd, and we can’t wait to get the whole family reading! Join us Thursdays for live performances at 10am outside in Smiley Park or 2pm in the Contemporary Club, and of course, be sure to grab free lunch for kids and teens from our “Lunch at the Library” collaboration with Redlands Unified School District on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am in Smiley Park, June 22-August 5. Registration is not required for these events…just show up and enjoy the entertainment!

We’d also love for all young readers to help us meet our summer reading community goal: to read every single minute of our official Summer Reading Program! Young readers will record the number of minutes they read and we’ll add all the minutes together to determine if we, as a community, can read 61, 920 minutes…every single minute of our Summer Reading Program! Young readers will also earn a chance to win prizes at the end of summer, so check out a stack of books, prepare your eyeballs, and get ready to read! Pick up a reading log from the Young Readers’ Room starting June 22.
