Anthology Information |
Each year, the Redlands Adult Literacy Program publishes Our Stories, a Collection of Writings. The anthology provides an opportunity for adult learners to write and share their stories, poems, or other written work with the community.
Authors work through the writing process with the assistance of a volunteer tutor. As literacy skills are built, our shared experiences contribute to our vibrant adult literacy community.
We celebrate our authors and their accomplishments. Each volume of Our Stories tells our story, the Redlands Adult Literacy Program story.
All members of the Redlands Adult Literacy community are encouraged to submit writings.
Please contact the adult literacy coordinator at 909.798.7565 ext. 4138 or literacy@akspl.org if you would like to participate on the anthology editorial committee. The committee reads every submission, organizes the writings into chapters, and hosts the celebration of authors event. The committee meets three times, for two hours each meeting.
